Petkontur was established in 1979 by the late Prof. Dr. Güntekin Köksal as part of a broader vision to develop high-quality real estate, construction, and investment projects in Türkiye and beyond.
Since then, the company has participated in a wide range of property and infrastructure developments, supported by financing and project agreements with leading national and international institutions.
In addition to real estate buying, selling, and leasing transactions, we offer brokerage services in various financing models such as build-and-sell, sell-and-build, or build-operate-transfer.
Among our major projects, we proudly mention Petya Holiday Village, completed in 1989 on a magnificent plot of land we developed in Datça, Türkiye, consisting of 52 luxury villas. As a continuation of this project, a second timeshare condominium plot was also developed.
That same year, Petkontur became the first Turkish company to establish and operate a construction project in Siberia, successfully delivering a 500-bed general surgery hospital in Novokuznetsk. This milestone was followed by numerous construction and engineering projects completed in Russia and Germany.
In 2005, Ottoman Life A.Ş. was established to develop and deliver Konak Evleri, an exclusive residential community consisting of 57 luxury homes in Bodrum, Türkiye. The project was completed successfully and remains one of the company’s flagship developments.
In 2023, Petkontur expanded into the United Kingdom through the formation of Merks Investments Ltd in London, reflecting the company’s commitment to international growth and long-term value creation.
